Orientation Day 2017

Orientation program for I Year B.Pharmacy students was conducted on 11th September 2017 in the college auditorium. I Year Students attended orientation along with their parents. The program started with a warm welcome to all the dignitaries, students and parents. The occasion was graced by Dr. Shobha Rani, HOD, Institute of Science and Technology, JNTUH as the Chief Guest. She enlightened students about the role of pharmacists as health care professionals. Ch. Dakshinamurthy, Head-HR M/s Suven Life Sciences Ltd. was the Guest of Honour. In his speech, he stressed on the relevance of hardwork in life and spoke about the importance of pharmacists as drug ambassadors. The newly admitted students were briefed with the history of the college. The pattern of the exams in the course of B. Pharmacy was explained to the students elaborately. Students were also updated with the rules and regulations to be followed for their good conduct. A presentation was also given emphasizing the career opportunities in pharmacy. A college visit was arranged for the admitted students along with their parents to let them know about the different departments and laboratories available in the college. Finally, the orientation program concluded with vote of thanks and a note to students informing them to attend college regularly.
