Foreign Delegate Lecture 2017

As Guest speakers have become an important part of the educational experience for students. College regularly conducts guest lectures from Industry/Academia/Research in order to improve student’s exposure to real-world life experiences from the position of someone who has been there. Mrs Dina Farag Reed, an Australian community pharmacist was invited on November 26, 2017 to give a guest lecture on her experiences. She addressed students about her experience as pharmacists in Australia in particular the various challenges one faces as community and hospital pharmacist. She also emphasized the role of pharmacist as a knowledge bank to patients. She spoke about the different ways of improvising pharmacy as a profession. She also discussed the scope of pharmacy career In International perspective and specifically in Australia which offers a huge career opportunity in Clinical Pharmacy. Students also had an opportunity to interact with her and cleared all their queries regarding higher studies in Australia.
